Deadlines and Payment Methods
After completing the process as a guest or in the customer’s personal account, the purchase will be registered and the customer will have a deadline, indicated in the selected payment method, to proceed with the payment. . Some payment methods allow the storage of data necessary to carry out the payment operation. However, in this context, no personal data of the customer will be stored, and its management must be carried out directly with the respective service provider. Exceptions apply where the service provider allows the management of personal data directly on our website, in which case, whenever these comply with applicable legal provisions, particularly regarding personal data protection, the instructions issued by that provider will be followed. In any case, no payment data entered by the customer is stored unless the provider’s platform allows it and the customer expressly consents.
Lov’in Book Guesthouse uses a sophisticated mechanism for detecting and preventing actions indicative of fraud. Through this solution, it is possible to verify the authenticity of online payments, while safeguarding, simultaneously, the integrity and security of customer data, as well as their identification. This security is made possible by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, which encrypts the communications between the customer’s software and our server so that they cannot be intercepted. As such, loveinbookguest reserves the right to refuse payment for an order if the respective transaction is considered unlawful. Any and all activities considered illegal will be immediately reported to the competent authorities.
Lov’in Book Guesthouse provides the following payment methods:
1.Credit / Debit Card
3D Secure is a communication protocol developed to improve the security of online payments and enable authentication of the credit card user with the issuing bank. Following a payment in an online store, a process is triggered that verifies whether the card used is valid. If the card is considered valid, the security systems associated with the 3D Secure protocol verify the identity of the customer, in real time, with the credit card issuer, which in turn validates the customer’s identity and reports confirmation that the card used is legitimate. This control aims to protect credit card holders by reducing the probability of fraudulent use of their cards, ensuring greater transaction effectiveness.
2. Multibanco Reference
Since the bank reference generated for payment has limited validity, failure to verify the payment within this period will result in the cancellation of the order. The indicated shipping deadlines will be met under normal order processing conditions, except in cases of exceptional increase in order volume during festive periods or promotional campaigns, as well as other circumstances that may affect the regular delivery service.
3. MB Way
The customer may proceed with payment of their order via MB WAY. During the ordering process, they must select this payment method and indicate the phone number associated with the application, access it and follow the confirmation steps indicated. If the number entered does not correspond to a payment number registered in that application, the following message will be displayed: “It was not possible to validate your payment. We received the following message: Inexisting MB WAY alias”.
As indicated in the application, payment must be made within five minutes, otherwise the order will be canceled.
4.Bank Transfer
After confirming the purchase, you will receive an email with the details to carry out the bank transfer.
Notice
Payments are always made in Euros, even when prices may be displayed in other currencies. Some banking institutions may charge exchange fees. Lov’in Book Guesthouse is entirely unrelated to this fact and therefore assumes no responsibility for it.
Since the bank reference generated for payment has limited validity, failure to verify the payment within this period will result in the cancellation of the request.
Age of consent
By making a reservation at Lov’in Book Guesthouse, you declare that you are of legal age to book the products available on the online platform. If you are not of the required age or are not legally authorized to acquire certain products, we will be obliged to cancel the reservation.
Acceptance of contract
All orders placed are subject to the right of admission, that is, we may choose not to accept the request.
Situations outside the control of Lov’in Book Guesthouse
We are not responsible for any failure, or delay in fulfilling any of our obligations, whenever such failure is caused by a situation beyond our control and/or is compromised by third parties.
Suggestions and Complaints
Customer feedback is very important to Lov’in Book Guesthouse as it allows the implementation of improvements in the services provided. Thus, if for any reason customers are not satisfied or have any suggestions, Lov’in Book Guesthouse appreciates that any situation be reported within a maximum period of 14 days counted from the occurrence or receipt by the recipient or by a third party designated by them, through one of the Customer Support contact channels.
